Public Engagement Session on
“Children’s Development - Living and Activity Space”

The Commission on Children (the Commission) held a public engagement session titled “Children’s Development - Living and Activity Space” on 24 July 2021 to garner views of children on their living and activity space. Children living in various kinds of environment were invited to join.
Some 80 Primary 4 to Secondary 3 students shared their views in group activities and discussion about daily living space including study space; dining space; open space for recreation; and personal space. Each participant wrote a postcard to the Chief Executive expressing his/her aspiration for improvement in living environment for children.
The session was moderated by members of the Commission. The Secretary for Labour and Welfare cum Vice-chairperson of the Commission, Dr Law Chi-kwong, also attended the public engagement session to show support and listen to the voices of children.
